Mari stood up and smiled “Nice to meet you Karla. Wait, are you Karla Raine? The one who’s running for the Valentine Queen, or whatever?” Mari asked with a smile. “Yeah, I’ve only been here for about a week now,” she explained. So far Mari has been having a terrible time in this town. All of the worst things were happening to her.

Karla smiled and blushed. “I Guess, I mean somebody nominated me, but I think it might be a joke.” She said shrugging and pulling her books to her chest. “You never know.” She said frowning. “Oh, and a week?” She asked. “Seems nice.” She said smiling. “How have you been liking the town?” She asked looking at Mari.
