Mari frowned at this. Why would someone play such a mean joke if that’s what this is. “Well hopefully this isn’t a joke and hopefully you’ll win. Is that what you want, to win?” she asked. “Do you have a date?” Mari asked Karla. Mari sighed as Karla mentioned the town “Oh yeah, it’s alright. I’ve been having a terrible time with people though,” she said with an empty laugh.

Karla looked at Mari. “Why?” She asked. “This town isn’t so bad.” She said shrugging. “And no, I don’t have a Date.” She said laughing. “I think I’m just going to go by myself.” She sad frowning. She knew no one would ask her anyway by now. “And I guess it would be nice, if I won.” She said shyly. “I don’t even know is anyone else is going to vote for me.” She said and laughed.
