Weapons out and ready, Alaric moved around, ears picking up some noises nearby. Not a few steps out, he sees a figure lying on the ground though he didn’t approach. It wouldn’t be beyond the thinking of a hybrid to lay traps for people to fall into.

Carefully stepping forward, Alaric pointed his crossbow at the figure, “Who are you and what are you doing out here?”

Karla looked over to a figure pointing a crossbow at her. She laughed and sat up. “Don’t get your panties in a twist, I’m just a human.. Being human, I guess.” She said and shrugged, pulling her legs to her chest. “I’m Karla.” She said looking over at him. “And who might you be, Crossbow Man?” She asked looking at her dirty shoes. She pulled her hair into a ponytail and waited for an answer. She sighed and looked back at him. “I’m not a threat, if you think I am, I mean, If I was a vamp, or a hybrid, you’d already be dead.” She said shrugging.
